Heather Nova has played this week-end in Haldern, at Bospop Festival, and at Festival de Liege, with full band. While the Haldern concert was at normal length, both festival gigs had shorter festival length.

Haldern saw the world premiere of three new Heather songs: Save A Little Piece Of Tomorrow, Turn The Compass Round, and Everything Changes. At Bospop and in Liege, from the new songs only Save A Little Piece Of Tomorrow was on the setlist. Of course, her older hit songs were also played.

Heather has noticed that the weather was hotter than in Bermuda...

On Twitter, Heather has mentioned that she is currently recording songs for her new album. She is very happy with her songs. David Ayers has added beautiful, rocking, sliding, sparkling guitars to it and the album is a full-on full band thing this time...

Heather Nova performed on Saturday, January 2, 2010, at the celebration party for the 7th anniversary of the Chewstick Foundation in Bermuda. She played Ride, Heart And Shoulder, and Walk This World. The Chewstick movement is an open-mic jam session born out of Bermuda in 2002, dedicated to breaking down social barriers, providing opportunities for storytellers of every medium, and raising funds for after-school, prison outreach, cultural arts and community programs.

Heather Nova's acoustic tour 2009 starts today! It is called "A Special Acoustic Evening", Heather will be accompanied by Arnulf Lindner. Also, the winners of the "Paper Cup Contest" will be on stage! Enjoy it!

According to Heather Nova, all the shows on her upcoming special acoustic tour (October 24 - November 15) will be recorded, and the recordings will be available to buy as high quality mp3 files the day after each gig from her website heathernova.com.

According to Heather Nova, she is currently gearing up for her European tour in October and November. It’s billed as "A special acoustic evening", and special is what Heather is working on. She says it won't be a folky thing, she hopes it to be more post modern.

Arnulf Lindner from Austria, who already played together with Heather on her summer tour, plays a plethora of instruments, so Heather hopes that she and Arnulf will be creating a lot of textures and feels, and many of the songs will take on new incarnations.

All you have to do is video yourself playing your instrument along to Heather's classic song 'Paper Cup'. Be sure to make the most of that solo!

Heather will choose the best musicians and the lucky winners will attend soundcheck and perform the song with Heather during the gig.

On August 17th, 2009 Heather will give a concert in the Paradiso of Amsterdam. Tickets for this concert will be available starting April 11th 2009.

As officially announced Heather will play at the Frequency festival (August 20-22, 2009) in St. Poelten, Austria (about 30 min from Vienna). So far no fixed date was announced, but as she will play in Rottweil on August 22nd, it must be on August 20th or 21st.

As soon as we know the exact date, we will inform you.

Please note: former Frequency Festivals took place near Salzburg. But in 2009, the Frequency Festival will move to St. Poelten.

According to Target Concerts, Heather Nova plays on Saturday, August 22, 2009 at the "Kraftwerk" in Rottweil, Germany. Rottweil is located in south-west Germany, between the Black Forest and the Lake Constance.
