Coincidentally W. H. Auden lived near my native place and his former house is now a museum/memorial place. Auden is also buried in that village and I was already at that cemetery over 30 years ago for other reasons, though I can't remember visiting his grave back then, but I guess I will catch up on that soon.
Anyway, great poem (already loved it in "4 weddings and a funeral") and Matic’ voice really reminds a lot of Cohen.

Just heard it at random on my Spotify! Wish I saw this listed directly in Heather's Spotify profile. Oh well.

They have just shown a segment about Paul Matic's music project in a broadcast called "Studio 2" on Austrian TV station ORF, where they also mentioned and showed Heather shortly.
Matic said, that they had sent her the song and got no reply for some time, but then she answered, that she loved the poem and if they still wanted her contribution.

Bought the MP3 of Stop All The Clocks for 99 cents (Euro) at Amazon, iTunesStore has the same price. Just wonder why there are higher prices for Fireproof. On Amazon it is 1.49 Euro-cent, on iTunes it is 1.29 Euro-cent. So who benefits from the higher price of 50 cents (Amazon) or 30 cents (Apple)? I doubt the artists will benefit.
