Not sure if you follow all the activities around Heather Nova.

Want to open a discussion here what you follow or not.

Heather presents pics, information or news on several platforms. As social media platforms want get money, forces you to get an account, ask you to accept to read your personal contact informations, whicht I do not accept, you cannot read those informations anymore, I do not have an account to Facebook or WhatsApp or so, as I totally dislike ther condition to get a "free" account. You pay with your data and your soul! I'm not willing to do.

Patreon is a bit more different as it is a payed account. Heather offers there currently for 5 Euro or so to get a monthly maybe 40 minute concert, which is very nice (!!!) and for 10 Euro or so to discuss and get replies by Heather to any topic Heather posts.

For my point of view it would be best if all information and discussion could be for free, like here! For those who want to support her by money, especially due to no having income as of no chance to play live or so, should be a separate thing.

I think with telling more people the news, it would be more helpful to keep her community bigger, what do you think?

I also don't have a Facebook account. I have an Instagram account, so I usually check her Instagram site, also those from Vincent and Felix, and the tag "heathernova" pretty often. Plus I do often a Google search with her name. For years, I did this almost daily, but in these Covid times, there are less news, so it is not necessary to do this so often anymore. Funnily I visit her website only pretty seldom. And then I'm on Patreon, and I think I get her newsletter.

Yes, I think there should be definitely a way to reach people apart from social media.

Maybe this newsletter could be sent more often, this would probably be the easiest way to reach people apart from social media and keep them updated even between big news like new album announcements or tour announcements.

This was about the "Waiting For a Girl Like You" release. Not about the video, which was released a few days later. I don't remember there was a newsletter about her second single and video "Don't Stop Believin", maybe there was none, maybe I deleted it.
