In IT Computer Operations, one carries an ID card.

I don't have a business card but I do have a barcode I printed out at work on my handbag which says "I'm a sommarbarn (it means summer kid), help!"

i don't like business cards. that's paper that is always out of date. so i don't let them make even if i can simply order in the office.

but i thought of having for heathernova.net to give to fans at a concert or so. on the other hand, a webaddress is usually easy to keep in mind. well heathernova.net is.

Thankfully, I'm one of the actual troops, who monitors, phones out, and occasionally fixes problems, as opposed to the "suits" who attend business meetings...

Maybe a HNN business card is a good thing for you. Remember, as you talked to the Poolbar and ORF people.

Yes, that would be for Gerd.

I remember, Pieter and an old fan called "Azy" and myself being in Brighton a few years back, and someone came up to me and asked if I knew anyone from a place called Novaforums... that was Andy Graham I think... at the time, we had a good laugh, as Pieter, "Azy" and I were three of the most prolific posters back then...

At most Heather gigs, sometimes people come to me 'you must be Johan, do you have a spare ticket?'.

It would be nice to have a hnn-businesscard with your name on it and saying 'freak' or 'newbie'.

It would be fun to have HNN-badges or cards , with your name on it.

It would come in handy at the next gig or festival.

At my last place of work, I was project architect of this £100 million pound project. They gave me a business card but, because I was still a 'contract' employee, they said it couldn't have my name on it.
So, like, excuse me but: what the hell point is that?!?

My current job is better. My card has my name on it. But I haven't got into the swing of carrying them around with me, so I still end up scrawling my email address on napkins with a pencil and the like. Not that I'm generally out there hustling for business.

Now, if the office would gratuitously send me on a first class flight to... anywhere, I wouldn't mind whoring myself around a bit. 'Till then, I don't really see the point.

P.S. the business card scene in the movie of 'American Psycho' is funny. I mean, very funny. Very, very funny.

Don't know if I should be happy for him, because I'm sending music to him, or I should be feeling sorry for him, because he really should be in bed by now...
