After releasing the song on Patreon first, Heather released the song "Ocean Sailing" two weeks later to public:
It is a song inspired by Kirsten Neuschäfer's participation in the Golden Globe Race. Information about Kirsten Neuschäfer: https://kirstenggr.com/

Very nice song. Heather is still the best. I am always impressed about her songs/songwriting. I love it, how Heather transports so many feelings in her beautiful voice.

The melody of the first part of the song reminds me strongly of "Hollow".
Don't know what's "Mother Ocean esoteric" about the lyrics though (as the author writes). Of course it's from a songwriter's/poet's view and not from a sportswoman's ones.

Nice song, nothing surprising or particularly special but very pleasant to listen to. And Heather's voice still sounds great.

Yes, it is really a fantastic song that would sound great on any album and especially live.

We have a winner!
The Golden Globe Race started in France in September, and the route was sailing alone and without modern navigation near the capes in South Africa, Australia, over the Pacific Ocean, and the cape in South America back to France. https://goldengloberace.com/wp-content ... 2022/07/GGR2022_Chart.jpg Yesterday, Kirsten Neuschäfer arrived in France as the winner (much earlier than predicted June). Besides, during the race she diverted from her path to rescue fellow competitor Tapio Lehtinen. Lehtinen’s boat sank, and the Finnish skipper was stranded for over 24 hours in the southern Indian Ocean. Kirsten Neuschäfer was the first to reach Lehtinen and rescue her fellow competitor - and still arriving first and winning the race! Very impressive! https://www.sail-world.com/news/261199 ... he-Golden-Globe-Race-2022 👏👏👏
