In this time of terrible uncertainty and fear, the one thing we have to hold on to is hope. And through this dark time, one of the things that’s brought us hope and comfort has been music.In light of this, and I do see light at the end of this long and harrowing tunnel, I’m planning to go ahead with my acoustic tour in October & November, (which was already planned before the pandemic).
I know this will be an extra special tour; I have always felt it a privilege to play live concerts, but now the privilege will feel even greater. I hope you share my hope, and that you will join me, to once again gather together and share music.

This will become the new tour thread for 2021. Also the tour name changed, as it seems not just a Pearl acoustic tour anymore.

"Acoustic Tour 2021" seems to be now the official name of the tour according to this tour poster/flyer/foto. Target concerts wrote in the info-mail "Acoustic Duo Tour 2021". Maybe a hint in terms of number of musicians.

33 concerts is a big challenge! Heather about 7 days performing in a row and then a little break. Quite a big stress to the voice. On the other hand I so much understand after this long break that she loves and values even more to perform. Just so much hope it works for her and her fans!

It is also a challenge in regards to distances. Without having counted the way from maybe London and back it is something 11.000+ km's of driving. But Heather loves it anyway to be on the road and the bus and is used to it for plenty of years.

As I'm really independent and have time, I thought I can join this entire tour, like I did sometimes in the past. But this tour is much bigger than ever thought. For me it would be 12.500 km. From rough early thoughts I think I can make 22 to 26 concerts. Guess I will skip some to just explore towns I do not know or were I haven't been for a long time.

A Heather Nova tour is always vacation for me and it opens heart! I'm so grateful that Heather is thinking hopeful "sees light at the end of this long and harrowing tunnel".

Wow, thirtyone Meet&Greets. A chance for everyone. As most concerts are without seat reservation, a nice but expensive way to also get a seating place in the first rows.

Just wonder which Corona restrictions in each country will still be applied.

Never had a picture with Heather and wearing FFP2 masks.

Anyway if there are till Corona restrictions, they would also apply to the concert itself, I guess. Currently the EU is planning a digital pass, so you can show if you are vaccinated, or already had Corona in the past or are tested negative in terms of Corona. I just hope the concerts can happen without masks.

My personal guess is that there is a 20% chance the full tour will happen. Maybe there is an additional 10% chance that at least some concerts (in a few selected countries) will happen. So speaking about wearing masks or not and about meet and greets sound a bit crazy to me.

There might be restrictions during the concerts, but also travelling restrictions. Heather plans to do 33 concerts in nine countries, so a lot of border crossings. We are talking about a possible digital EU covid vaccine passport, but since when is the EU good in digitalization? They say we might have such a passport in summer, so I guess it will be winter or even next year. They vaccinate so slowly now, at least younger people, who knows if we will get our vaccinations in time? As Heather is neither an EU citizen nor an EU resident, will she even have the right to apply for such an EU digital passport? I read the UK plans something similar, will such a digital UK vaccine passport be accepted in EU then after Brexit?

I got my tickets for Leuven and Evergem but I'm still in doubt if the tour will take place. Covid figures are not improving
