I just got the new Nerina Pallot cd.
I'm disappointed by it, and that's no surprise. In my opinion her first 2 cd's were amazing, but after that she lost it ... I saw her once live and it was pure heaven but now she doesn't seem to tour europe. The new cd seems to be an album full of covers, but not the kind of covers that appeal to me. Not the kind of album to gain a bigger fanbase. A pity !

The only covers on the album are the bonus live tracks included on the deluxe edition. The other 14 tracks are all originals. 'All Bets Are Off', 'Grace' and 'History Boys' are all gorgeous songs. I think the best work she did last year was on the limited edition e.p. 'Yes, December' which she released just before Christmas.

Never heard of her before. But when I look in german wikipedia http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nerina_Pallot it looks like she must an international pop star.
You don't belive that? For example look here: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Petty  Tom's side - and he is an international rock star - is maybe only a quarter of her side.
