Uh-oh, I have definitely heard both songs a bit too often in the last weeks. But Everything Changes is clearly better than Higher Ground, so my vote for Everything Changes.

Higher Ground is clearly the better song to my ears ;)

This was incredibly difficult for me because I really love both songs a great deal. My temptation would be to vote for Everything Changes, but only because I'm a little burned out on Higher Ground. I have tried to turn some co-workers onto 300 Days at Sea, and without exception I pick "Higher Ground" as the song that I play for them. I guess that either means I think it's the best song on the album or at the very least, it's the one that I think Heather virgins would like the best. My vote goes to "Higher Ground."

Bernd mentioned the name elsewhere, and I say here that the new intro to Higher Ground makes me think of Nick Cave; I expect him to be singing when the verse begins. Not saying that he should cover it, but it would be great if he did.

It's tough to vote against Everything Changes, but I chose Higher Ground.

I'm sorry being late. My vote goes definitely for Everything Changes, pretty much the best song of the album besides Save a little piece of tomorrow. The lyrics are great and it is a touching song, the most touching of the album actually. Higher Ground is nice, but a bit too commercial for my taste.

Both songs have a lot of suppport. Yes, Gerd's posted vote does now make the posted voting tied at 5 (not including my own), which would allow me to break the tie with my posted vote. But there's still over half a day left before the tiebreaker voting is closed.
