The Heather Nova concert on October 16th 2008 in Berlin will be broadcasted live in the internet!

There are plans to broadcast this concert here on heathernova.net and on heathernova.de! Stay tuned!

If we cannot work things out as of the short timeframe, we will provide you at least a link where you can watch the concert live at the internet!

Hope this is very good news for the fans who cannot visit any concert of the tour!

Yeah,it would be great (I'm at Wendy McNeill concert this night).

We will stream this concert on heathernova.net. I will provide a link on Friday for it. The providing company is working on it. Unfortunatelly the live stream will not work on a MAC with MAC-OS-X. You will need to have Windows as the videoplayer will be based on Windows Media Player. So to watch the live stream on a MAC you need to run MS Windows on it.

I do have an Intel based MAC so I could run Windows on it, but i don't want to do. I am at the concert live anyway!
I complained to the company already that it s not a good idea to have it only available for Windows compatible computers! It is a new young company so, still learning. Well I hope they do.

btw, from the pictures of the solar laptop i think Heather has a non-Intel based MAC. Therefore she will not be able to see her own concert live on her laptop!

The concert starts at 9pm at October 16, Middle European Daylight Saving Time.

So in UK, it's 8pm at October 16.

The broadcast starts 30 minutes earlier.

I'm currently testing Net Trasport with another of their streams, though who knows if that'll work with the live stream.

hey, to all u computer techies out there, can anyone tell me what software i would need installed on my PC to be able to capture this live stream; i really want a copy of the gig as I'm sure there will be no official DVD release from this tour (and even if there were, like Union Chapel, it's likely it would be missing all pre-Storm songs); any help in this regard would be great, as I so want to have the full concert burned onto a DVD for future enjoyment and repeated viewings; many thanks.

Oh, and I'm not sure if this was mentioned earlier, but according to teh requirements, it looks like this will be playable on Macs if you have the Windows Media Player Plugin. So hopefully everyone will be able to listen. Even something called the VLC player should work for Linux.
