According to ticketmaster.com, Heather Nova will make the following dates:

October 8 - The 9:30 Club - Washington, DC (United States)
October 10 - World Cafe Live - Philadelphia, PA (United States)
October 11 - Nokia Theatre - New York City (United States)

Tickets will go on sale May 16 for the Washington and Philadelphia gigs, and May 22 for the New York City gig.

I just got off the phone with a guy at the 9:30 club. Not only did he confirm the October 8 date for Heather Nova's concert, but he also told me who would be the support band, none other than her own brother Mishka!

He said it will mark that Heather Nova and Mishka have gone on tour together. Not sure yet if Mishka will open for Heather Nova in Philadelphia and New York, but will try to find out.

I just tried calling World Cafe Live and Nokia Theatre, but all I got was recordings. Apparently they aren't open yet today. I'll try to call again later this morning.

When I look at ticketmaster.com after Heather, I get no results.

World Cafe Live (Philadelphia) lists for October 10 "The Iguanas"...

Probably cause I made it all up.

The Nokia Theatre website doesn't state anything about it as well (yet?). Their program ends at 20th August so far (Chris Isaak btw. - covering Heather's "Wicked Game" )

I also wondered since October 11 in NYC and October 13 in London are way too close...

But hey, I didn't post it in the news. It's important to be fast, but it's more important to be correct! So I checked the dates and didn't found them, so I didn't post them.

Well, the most unbelievable part is that Heather Nova would ever tour the US again...

The first thing I thought was, I will definitely not get days off at those days. Then I saw that the last gig is way to close to the London gig.

I assume it looks weird for Americans how we post here in Europe one tour date after the other and are happy and crazy with each new gig dropping in.

Cass caught me in the first moment as well. Couldn't think of going to all those concerts right before the European tour. But thinking more about, it was obvious this is 'just' a wish.

btw, how about to settle in Europe?
Or maybe come for a visit like Cass did in 2006.

Considering Heather would tour at the east cost, would the people at the west coast still come? Not sure if the distance is similar, but quite a distance and will cost quite some money still.

It costs a lot money to go to London or so for me as well.
There is a big minus on my bank statement but that is under control. Beeing kinda addicted to her concerts I just save eveything to afford the whole tour.

They're trying to work out a gig in New York City, a guy in a Santa hat told me this morning.

If this gig is close to the concert dates in Bermuda, then it might makes sense to fly via the US from Europe.

Do you know if this is just going to be one concert or if she's doing a small tour, perhaps with dates in other U.S. cities? Any idea when this will be?
