Time to hear ALL Heather Nova songs then maybe!

There are lots of ways to enjoy an alternative Christmas time!

I have all CD's here, so I cannot listen to them at my parents. I have no music on my mobile phone, and I don't have an ipod or such.

that definitely explains why you are getting bored!
Consider to take something with you you like. A christmas tree, Heather Nova songs or whatever. A laptop maybe to get access to HNN or so. Just ideas. I think you just should not complain. You have to do somthing yourself to not get bored at Christmas!

Yeah. Today I was told I will have to check my father's phone bills on Christmas. But that lasts maybe only 30 minutes.

I don't. Sweden's out. I can only care about soccer if I want a team to win.

Looking forward to 2009. Last ten episodes of Battlestar Galactica will air then!

I am looking forwards to next weekend already, even though I'm not at work today either. Next weekend, the whole office is off on Friday and Monday, and my new passport should be arriving!

Yes, and then we're buying an apartment in Uppsala. I reckon we'll live here for a month or so until we are clear to move in.

You sound so grown up and organised!
Some of us (i.e. me) never get to that level
I'm still excited by finding these:

going for half price in the local shop
Hopefully you'll be giving us updates on 'Swedish Style' decor 'American Version'?

Hey I get excited about candy too! Today I heard that my favorite kind of chocolate is available in Sweden! And I had to go all the way to Holland to get them before.

Btw gerd no we're not rich, we still need to take a loan to get the apartment.

My fave chocolate biscuits are called 'torroni baci' which translates something like 'nougat kiss'... cannae buy them in Scotland though. Not even by internet.

But hey, who cares? I'm off to Paris at the weekend!!

I think I know these - someone brought them once from Mailand/Milano. They didn't live very long. And there was something special about them (they contained a verse or something?).

I think you're right about the message Bene, at least in some of them. Not that I noticed on mine... they had lovely packaging but it was swiftly disposed of!

Which reminds me of that nice aphorism Cass once had in one of these small Chinese luck cakes (or however they are called? You know these helpful thoughts like "After every winter follows a spring" or "The more you eat, the fatter you get" or so...)...
