John Frusciante's solo music. He is the guitarist for the red jot chili peppers. And his solo music is out of this world. Give him a listen, you will be glad you did.

They WERE superb...last album was a lazy lazy effort and By the way wasn´t much better. One Hot Minute is the best thing they ever did imho.

They were ok, i guess. Superb is a bit too much, maybe.
 Heather waas superb, now that applies. These days, i've been listening to Nicole Atkins, Patti Smith and Bikini Kill. Riot!

I like the song. I remember listening to some Bikini Kill songs on CD in the store, but I never bought an album of them... in the end, all songs were the same.

Listening a lot to The Shins lately. Really liked their new single (The Phantom Limb) and 3voor12.nl have a recording of their recent concert in Amsterdam. At the end of the gig they break into their rendition of Breathe in the air by Pink Floyd which was a great surprise.

Marissa Nadler and Au Revoir Simone.
Marissa's live performance last weekend was one of the very best gigs I've ever witnessed. On recordings, her voice and the instrumentation and so on are great. But that won't prepare you for the sheer power of the real thing. It's utterly awesome. If you get the chance to see one of her live shows, especially whilst they're still at small venues, I strongly recommend you go along [I'm sounding like a PR agent here but, honestly, Marissa is a very, very, very rare creature indeed] And I've written of the Simone girls elsewhere...
