I thought so. I'm sorry for you! Want to explain what the reason is why it was cancelled?

I wish I could, but all they say on their website is "Personal matters" which could be anything from a wedding to a death.

Mh, their upcoming Danish concerts are not cancelled. So it's likely nothing serious.

Maybe they just prefer Denmark to Sweden.

I hope they're not all dead.
Their latest album is quite good.
Even if the title is 'Death in Athens'.
They're not in Athens?
Maybe they've been planning a murder.

Maybe it just takes more time to cancel all gigs or they simply forgot?

This evening I visited a concert from Katie Melua in Rotterdam, It was very cool!

She was recording a DVD this evening and she had to repeat 2 songs at the end of the evening
(one of them is my favorite !!!! )

It was just a regular concert, with an unexpected bonus

My guess is that a family member died and that the funeral is these days. It's just a guess though. That's one of the few reasons I can imagine they would only cancel 3 gigs.

Now I am curious how you will manage the Nürnberg - London - Brussels part!

And please notice you are going to three concerts on this tour. Freak! I mean your are breaking your own rules!

I just wanted to go to London via Brussels and to Luxemburg. It's not my fault that there was today a concert announced right on my trip back where I can easily stopover.

This is not correct. There was already one tour where I went to three concerts (summer 2004). On the other side, I completely missed the fall 2001 tour (Heather was ill in Stuttgart, so I saw Eskobar, but not Heather there, and I have no second gig booked) and the summer 2002 tour (I wasn't sure at all if I had time that summer, as I was very busy with my job; plus: FIFA world championship). I'm glad I saw the summer 2001 tour and the spring 2002 tour, so it was not too bad.

I was asking actually about solutions. the arrival in Brussels is to close to the concert for my taste and if there is a delay ...

You said, you were "asking actually about solutions". I simply do not see an answer.

Yeah, but

a) the Eurostar terminates at Midi station, not at Central station, and

b) the AB is maybe close to Central station, but if you don't know the way, and you don't know immediately in which direction you have to go, it's not easy to find and it still takes time, and

c) maybe Gerd wants to check-in in his hotel first as well.

From Midi to the Central Station is 5 minutes by train.

I did an exam in the Midi Station a few weeks ago.

I know; but think of someone who needs a ticket and has to find the correct lines and platforms and such, because he has never been there before.

hey, see you in London Bernd! and anyone else who's going along of course!
I've also just bought a ticket to see the mighty BLUE NILE in Glasgow in July.
Then also several shows at the Edinburgh Festival.
Tonight I was at Paris Motel + Angus and Julia Stone. Julia Stone's a fabulous vocalist. Plus there were several cute girls in the audience, so it was a fun evening. I'm actually happy for the first time this week!
Which merits a few strange smurfies

I saw Tom McRae with his Hotel café tour. It consisted of him introducing some singer songwriters that played. Pretty much all of them were great, especially Greg Laswell.

Playing: Tom McRae (reason I went)
Greg Laswell (awesome!)
Cary Brothers (pretty good, I bought a cd)
Jim Bianco (Crazy ass guy)
Catherine Feeny (boring "This is a beautiful city, i hope i will come back" Yeah, like I haven't heard that before)
Brian Wright (Reminded me slightly of Tom Petty.)

I saw 'Wir Sind Helden' tonight in an acoustic concert and with a book reading. It was very funny what they presented.

Today I have ordered tickets for 'Hubert von Goisern' and the old and famous band 'Kansas'.

Oh, CocoRosie were fine! I stood before Sierra, the opera singer. This means I have barely seen Bianca, since Bianca was on the other side of the stage and always wearing a big cap and looking into the other direction. But Sierra was only two metres away from me! Also, there was some French beatboxer on stage. Well, I didn't recognize many songs, since I own their albums since only a few weeks, but I recognized "Japan"! The music was like on the CD's, I think they didn't vary it much, except maybe that this beatboxer was on EVERY song now. But it was a good and funny concert, one woman (in my age) fainted twice! Unfortunately, lots of people were talking during the songs.
