Talking so much crap or liking Abba is OK, as long as you don't scream at everyone about it. Please refrain from writing in all caps. Thank you Gregsky.

Peace indeed. It's not a matter of liking each other or not, just of respecting the netiquette and atmosphere of the forum.

I like the remixes from "Polyesterday", "Barry" and the other singles of "Polydistortion" from Gus Gus. Can't remember all the names, haven't listened to it in a long time...

Well, you have a sense of humour that is simply irritating some people here. It would be better if you would just not yell anymore and you would stop to make fun about other people and their names, and people have already told you a few times, but you continued. I guess that's all. You can be a valuable member here, but just follow those simple two rules above and everything will be fine again.

Greg;
I don't think it has anything to do with 'oldies' vs. 'newbies'. I'm also relative new here, but using CAPS is a very common nettiquette (spelling?).

Regarding your sense of humor; please don't stop submitting these posts/jokes, but keep in mind that not everybody may like them - try to keep it polite (this is a personal balance of course, but nevertheless...) and try not to offend people/persons.

That's all I guess, shouldn't be too tough to comply with.

Cheers - have a good weekend! (Although I have got still some office-hours to go)

No one has been picking on you. You came here and insulted everyone and act like you are being attacked when we tell you not to. What a joke. You are obviously only here to make trouble and now you are attempting to get sympathy so you can cause more trouble. We don't buy it. Please do go away until you are mature enough to act like an adult.

Gregsky, I don't know about your qualms with Ben, but I did see (a little bit) of what is buggin' you with Cassander. Cassander has every right to have his own opinion on any icon that you, I, or any1 else has for that matter. However, you are entitled to your own opinion too. As for the thing where he asked you to change your icon, and then we you did, he didn't change his, well use whatever you want as long as it isn't porn or something like that. I know things did not go both ways as they seem like they should've, or it would've been better if it was said beforehand that one would not change his icon even if you changed yours. But it's such a small issue in retrospect. It may not seem 100% fair, but don't let it bug you. I know how you feel. Just learn to deal with it. That's all you can do. I hope you stay on, but if not, that's ok too.

Wake up with the king!!

The King rules.
But meat is still murder.

As for the avatar thing, I have not once in the history I've been here changed my avatar. I never implied I would. I simply shared my feelings on someone's avatars, nothing more. Gregsky is just trying to make trouble and wanted to see if he could pick on some people here and get sympathy somehow. He was trying to start fights. That doesn't fly.

can we end this thread?!

it is getting boring repeating the same arguments over and over again, points have been made and everyone should draw their own personal conclusions.

thanks and continue the 'more interesting and fun' discussions!

hmm, very true. Although, it is quite possible that he felt overly vulnerable when you said that to him, so whether he actually liked your icon or not, wanted to see if you'd remove yours too or not. It seems he's sensitive, but someone who might really truly care about you if you got to know him. Well, the decision is ultimately up to him.

A few things I do hate are meat eaters who try to force their way of life onto non-meat eaters. It is just wrong and disrespectful. Or people who mistreat animals because they are "going to die" anyway. People may think it doesn't matter, but sometimes I think there are things that we may not be aware about by people doing things like this. [Makes me think of the Iraq stuff with prisoner treatment. It's really sad because if you're working for the military, it's so hard to focus on more than one kind of train of thought.]

I've also heard that when meat is produced in the US, people here don't know how to use all the parts of the animal, so they probably just discard them. Whereas if you took the same animal to Asia, at least it would probably be used more efficiently because just about everything that could be used would be.

And I don't like how wasteful our country is. Like if you buy something at a restaurant, you should try to finish it or take it home. But instead, we just let it sit and get thrown away. Not as good for our environment in the long run.

Ok, that was way off topic, but interesting I thought. Oh well.
