I was searching for a Bataclan website for the Tour Dates section, but there seems to be no official website.

No review before the show Actaully I'm going thanks to the job, but not for it... And I won't take pictures, sorry. I'll see what I can do about the setlist. If I go.

How can you spend a holiday better than finishing it with a Heather gig in the evening.

Ooopps. It's German national holiday today, not French.

"If I go".

I can't imagine for example that Heather plays in Antwerp, and I can't go because of work, let alone not wanting to go. That's impossible !

That just means we're different, and your oldest friends are not in town, and you're not hitting a rough patch with your girlfriend, and you still like Heather as much as you used to. Simple, no?

Ben, I didn't change the heading of this topic.

And like Jelger said, all of the above is a reason to go and see her live.

Heathers music has a healing effect on me.

Whether I see her at home (Antwerp), or Koln , or the Netherlands, it feels like coming home.

Amidst a changing world, a HN gig is a certainty. (shit, this sounds silly)

One another great show !
One difference with the last show during the set : she sang I wanna be your light just after walking higher
2 songs during the first encore : welcome & wicked game
she ended the show with island

The show was as good as the A.B's performance. The band is very good and it's rock !!
In my opinion,I Miss My Sky was better tonight !

Great audience too !

Storm
Heart And Shoulder
Motherland
Redbird
Just Been Born
Walk This World
Fool For You
Mesmerized
I Miss My Sky
All I Need
The Sun Will Always Rise
Someone New
Walking Higher
I Wanna Be Your Light
London Rain
Winterblue
Done Drifting
Make You Mine

First Encore:
Welcome
Wicked Game

Second Encore:
Island

hi all, first post here

i was to the bataclan yesterday night. wonderful gig, as usual... somehow, however, i miss glenn scott and his incredible supporting voice

tried to remember the playlist, but hey, ailing memory... not sure of the order, and one song is missing. can somebody help me ? thanks !

1 storm
2 heart and shoulder
3 motherland
4 redbird
5 just been born (?)
6 walk this world
7 fool for you
8 mesmerized
9 miss my sky
10 all I need
11 the sun will always rise
12 someone new (acoustic)
13
14 I wanna be your light
15 London rain
16 walking higher
17 winterblue
18 done drifting
------------
19 welcome
20 wicked game
------------
21 island

the first 6 songs were sung in a row... the whole gig seemed so short

ok, sorry all, i was too long to write my message, and dblef has the definitive playlist... forget mine...
great audience for sure. hey, heather didn't take a pic of the audience like the last time she came in paris... am i too picky ?

Hi
I am sure she planned wicked game in Brussels: there was a trumpet in Brussels nobody used!

Show was great and French audience in a good mood for once!
Reminded me of Oyster/Siren tours

so great!!

Sorry to rain on your parade, but the audience sucked. With all due respect. They only got up for the encore... I know it was a seated venue, so it makes it more difficult, but still.

The opener was pretty good, a guy with his guitar and a Jeff Buckley thing going for him, short and to the point.

Heather took the stage at 8.45, only to leave it definitely at 10.30 pm. You all have the setlist by now, so I'll just comment on my favorite parts of the show:

1) Redbird + Just Been Born: almost perfect, if only they hadn't cut the dragging ending in JBB...

2) Winterblue and Make You Mine: Siren is my favorite album, that's for sure, and loud guitars compliment Heather's voice...

3) Island: with Berith, it could be nothing but perfect, and it was, except for the stupid audience who cheers and claps as she starts woohooing instead of shutting their fucking mouths and listening reverently.

I wished they played Sugar, and I didn't think the drummer was so good, but what do I know. Trombone (?) was nice on Wicked Game.

All in all, better than Bruges '04 but way below Lyon '98.

yeah, joseph d'anvers ! he was good. he began at 8pm and sang for 25 minutes. his first song was "les amants", his last was "les cicatrices" (or la cicatrice ? don't remember, again, damned...)

http://josephdanvers.20six.fr/

with some songs to listen to. gig on november 11th at La Cigale, for the Festival des Inrocks, with Alexis HK and Dyonisos.

haven't been to many heather nova concerts yet (yesterday was my third), but the audience was fine to me. there was two guys dancing wildly during London Rain while everybody remained seated, it was fun , haha, they were in the front row on the right (i could see them and i was in the middle/back row on the left...). then we all stood up for the last 3 songs.

the only thing to me is that i missed the interaction with the public ; like heather telling us a story or an anecdote or whatever between songs.

that's my thought exactly in Bussels... I just blamed it ona bad day or something like that, but if this is going to be at every concert (also first words spoken to the audience after 6 songs..).. it is like playing duty-machine...

however, usually full-band concerts tend to have less 'speeche's', due to its nature.. (that is also my experience with another band)

Hello,
i was at Le Bataclan on monday.
First I was completly disappointed by the seats
Anyway the set was good, and I find her quite talkative.

I complety agree. I think most of those disrespectful person didn't know this song.

It was me and my friend !!!!
Yes I stood up at the begining of "London Rain" and I made
sign to the people around to do the same but nobody did
So I was the only one up with heather in front of me, and then I tried to made my friend stand up because London Rain is "our" song and she told me "at the end of the song". So after the last verse we stood up together and dance and Heather looked at us and she laughed, I'll always remember her smile at that moment, it was GREAT and I didn't care we were the only ones up at this moment we had so much FUN !!!!

I also stood up at the end of "Make you mine" and this time there are people who did the same and when Heather cam back the whole venue was up
