Having listened to a lot of stuff, and having a deep thought. I have come to a conclusion;
There are no Heather Nova songs I don't like. And the majority of them; I love. Oooh And I really like her cover of "Wicked Game". Probably the worst track on Redbird, but I still really really like it. It sounds awesome. Each to his own, I guess.

I haven't heard Redbird yet (stupid Northern Ireland record stores still have hardly any Heather Nova record
 ) but of all her previous albums there are of course tracks I like better and tracks I like less.I only really dislike one song, and that is Help Me Be Good To You. I always skip it. All her other songs, I don't really dislike. Some tracks I like less than others, but the only song that I really dislike is Help Me Be Good To You. If I really MUST name two others: River Of Life, and When Somebody Turns You On. Glowstars, Siren and Oyster are extremely good albums and I cannot even call one less good track from those. Those songs are too good to be mentioned in this topic. @ Johan: as a travel fanatic, I could never dislike Walk This World, no matter how often I hear it. It's such a travel anthem, it always stirs up that wonderful feeling of wanting to swift away to the furthest places... A Heather Nova gig is not complete without Walk This World

It seems the tracks from redbird is not so heavily featured here, wich would indicate that redbird is not such a bad album, at least not as bad as many of u would make it out to be....
Many bottom three would be as follow.. 1. Valley of sound 2. Im no angel 3. Lets not talk about love But Overturned, Maybe an Angel and All i need, no way!! Those are some of my all time favourites!!

Let's Not Talk About Love
You Left Me A Song(unlistenable) I'm No Angel(although I like the other tunes on the cd single) Runner-up prize to Fool For You I like everything from her first three albums and the Frith EP. Still haven't listened to Redbird enough to say if I really don't like certain tunes. Most of them seem okay, but don't provoke particularly strong feelings one way or the other. The Wicked Game cover seems completely unnecessary and should have gone on a b-side, if she even did b-sides anymore. Seems like she used to have a bigger collection of songs with her albums. With Siren, she had like five or six original songs as b-sides, plus a couple of cover tunes.

I wasnt as into Heather when it was released, so I didnt get it when it came out in Europe. And then when it came out in America, I still wasnt sure if I should bother since I heard it was too commercial and poppy. I already throught Siren was too poppy.
But in a record store here, believe it or not, they had one of those things where you could listen to all the tracks. I was impressed when I got to Talk To Me. When I got to Help Me Be Good To You, I knew I had to get it right then. Both those songs touch me.

The sound in I'm Alive bores me, and Let's Not Talk About Love, the duet with Benjamin Biolay, just doesn't go well with me either. Verona, I don't like the sound in either. Now that I think about it more, I think A Way To Live will push Verona up for me! All of Heather's lyrics are usually superb or substantial for me.
hmm, actually I'm not big on Everytime either because for a song with stripped down production, or rather no added production especially, I don't like it because it sounds too repetitive. So, I guess that would push I'm Alive out of the bottom 3 for me. The whistling in Everytime is a great idea, especially since Heather doesn't incorporate it that much. I'd like to hear do Heather a song with Bongo drums like the band Guster uses, or for her to have music like old Tori, but to keep lyrics that make sense maybe. Or maybe not? lol.
