Many Heather Nova fans highly appreciated our HNN Advent Calendar in 2005 and we got a lot nice feedback! So we feel encouraged to present you another one in 2006! The content is not yet totally clear for all 24 days, but we hope we will find some suprises for you in our archives. As we have 140 new members since last years HNN calendar, we might repeat a few most wanted items from last year for our new members. We are sure our long term members appreciate to share those stuff with you although it is not new for them.

Day 1 is online at the news!

Please check daily the news section here to get the link for each day. Every link is online only for 3 days! If you are not online at least every 3 days you might miss a goodie. So take the chance

Feel free to give comments to the new HNN Advent Calendar 2006 itself and the content.

Enjoy

Gerd, do you know why she played Blue Black two times? Has she no more songs prepared, for example?

I was wondering about having BB twice
Thought maybe I did not unzip correctly
Even though I did find two times as nice
And even more lovely
Thanx again

Thanks a lot gerd, and don't worry if some files were already here last year : i missed a lot because of sad family problems last december.
Old files are good for new fans…

And a 1994 gig is a very nice gift !!!!

Thanks again

This pic was made when she played at the Rockpalast gig around christmas.

I have no idea if Heather is connected to any religous community.
I am Evangelist, but actually I have no idea why i am in this community. People in other religious communities believe in god as well and i don't think there is that much difference and a need to make a difference beeing catholic or evangelist or whatever. I feell thos differences are stupid and makes no sense.

You mean probably "Protestant". An "evangelist" is a priest or minister, as far as I know, like all the televangelists on American tv.

Yeah, the pic was made at WDR Rockpalast Christmas Special with Van Morrison on December 19, 1998.

And I'm sure Heather does not follow any religion. She is connected with music and the sea in a spiritual sense, but she is not "religious" at all. She has often said that.

Oh, there are surely differences, and I have no problems with that. Why should everyone believe the same? But yes, no reason to disrespect each other or even worse.

Well yes i am "Protestant" then. I don't know exactly. I do not care about all the differences. I know i pay a lot money each month to be, and i have no idea why i am just in this community. I really think I should change somehow. It's not the reason as of money. I really like the idea of not following any religion, just thinking more what i believe in to support that. So why just giving money to just one community. I think i have to do some changes!

Ask your parents, and maybe Luther.

The December 2nd pic is such the opposite of the first, too made-up and contrived,I don't like much about it except for Heather's beautiful eyes

True, but his first thought was to go back to an old concert. He changed it cause he wanted to give a different answer. Besides, with time travel, he can be in two places at once

No. Well, it depends on your concept of "time", but normally he can't be at two places at the same time. Maybe with dimension travelling.

Well, time is what it is. He was at the concert and he will be 3000 years in the future. Where is he now? Well, if he didnt come back, then he's not here. If he has come back, then he's right here now.

The interviewer is talking about how Heather lived on Bermuda and a boat and he says that its in some of her songs, like Island must be representative of her youth. And Heather gets nervous and probably is thinking "Have you even listened to the song????" but then kinda dodges it by half agreeing to it in general.

Btw, I think the concert was in Rockville, which is closer to DC than Annapolis. It's in the same county as me and broken_iris, actually. So surreal to think she was once right near here.

It could be Rockville, yes, like announced in the intro. Well the intro is from tape as it is said always in these shows. Well the words are exactly the same like at the Tori Amos show.

I see now what you mean. I just thought you were talking about same/time and dieffrent places. But you are right, he can travel forwards and backwards as he likes it...and confuse the whole history...

Cool. Near Fredricksburg or the like?

I grew up in Georgia but I'm in Silver Spring, Maryland now, just a tiny bit from the DC border.

Heather really should do a concert in DC... now there are 3 fans on HNN in the DC area, and another just up in New Jersey who had been down here a year or so ago.

What do you miss?

I made these three pages one year ago, and everything looks OK. Well, there aren't much articles after 2003, for several reasons. For example, I took out some articles in German language, or interviews made for heathernova.de, .com, .net.
