w00t! Looks like The Terminator (of state employees) lost. So nice to see the parental notification one get knocked down. Frankly, I find that worse than outlawing abortion wholesale... these damn laws are enslaving kids. Forcing a kid to have a baby against her will cause her parents want it? Ugg. That's so fucking fascist.

And speaking of fascist, Jerry Kilgore, who was running for governor of Virginia and who ran ads essentially saying that immigrants should get the death penalty for coming here illegally, has lost. Yay!

This morning I was in my garden and saw a "Redbird".
in French it's a rouge-gorge . If you have the translation I buy.
He staid about 10 minutes in my hand and then on this piece of wood and then flew through the sky. Nice moment.

I'm amazed that you heard about this state proposition all the way in Germany, though. Wow.

We hear relatively much about Arnie over here. I guess because Austrians in foreign countries bring evil to the population...

Good (weird) thing happened today. I discovered a song by Death Cab For Cutie thanks to a group in my class's presentation of children's labour throughout the world.

Yeah, the bad propositions all failed. That qualifies as a good thing!

Oh, and it rained.

I'm glad about that too. Really. Good legislation has to be all over the world.

Today; I had a ridiculusly easy math test. If I don't get all answers right I'll cry.

I bought a program with which I can rip the sound off a music DVD. Brilliant !

Not only do you get mp3's which you can put on an ipod, on cd ... but you can adjust the sound levels, channels, cut, copy.... great tool !

I saw an amazing movie tonight. One of the best I've ever seen. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Very beautiful.

Feeling creative, finally.

I came up with a base for a new song that worked pretty well. Finger picked with the capo on the third fret, alternating just between Cm and Gm. Just did babble random lyrics, but it sounded pretty good with my wife on harmonica.

Also played Call of the Wind well making the Am-Dm switch well throughout. My wife played under my singing well for the first time really which is hard cause it's harder to play quieter on her recorder thingie.

And I also started yet another song! This one had my weird fiddling with the metal end of my capo on the strings actually work. Might be the first time I've ever added some weird distortion to my guitar and have it work. A successful expiriment? How odd.

And then I wrote at least a temporary third and final? verse to another song I've worked on. It's not great, but at least now the song has an ending I can go with and so can play it start to finish.

Yay. Tried to write lyrics to "Kitten", but alas, my luck was not that strong tonight.

All in all good though.

Capo on third. Playing Cm an Gm. that sounds familiar. Everytime.

I once knew how to play Everytime, but I've forgotten. Didn't feel right playing it. I'll leave it to Heather

I have a date next sunday.

I know this woman since the Pukkelpop gig last summer, and we've been chatting, text messaging... literally everyday since then !

We're going to a party in Ghent. She lives quite far from here. She's going to park her car here, and then I'll drive with my car. We also have to go to another party in Waregem.

Was that the short girl you once told about?

Weel, good thing today (and also bit embarrasing):

We had a presentation about why some countries were poor and I had a sort of scetch I had found on the internet. One point said, "animals". And some people asked me about that.
"Well, uhm, maybe you can say that cars are animals so they get hit by them, die and stay poor".
So I actually said that some countries are poor because the people get hit by cars and die!
Now, if that's not called panicking, I don't know what is.
