  How CAN you not like "Talking to Strangers" or "Blessed"  or is "Sugar" Oh well...  I like them all. Just not anywehere as much as her other songs. :)

For the record, I think Help Me Be Good to You could be a good song but she just refuses to do it in a good way. It's got this annoying to me sound, I don't know how to explain in text, but I just hate it. The melody is fine, but the music, ugh.
Gloomy Sunday is an ok song but I've preferred others' versions of it better. I just think her version is not very interesting and if you don't do something interesting with a cover, why cover it? It just seems... cheap to me. And I Wanna Be Your Light is a nice little song, but I think it's kind of cheesy. Too simple and standard and the lyrics are  . Which is pretty much the same as how I feel about When Somebody Turns You on.

Hey Christina, just as well u only requested three songs and not ten !!! From the albums, there are only four I'm not too keen on - they are:
1. Widescreen 2. Avalanche 3. When somebody turns you on 4. Help me be good to you btw. I remember the first time I seen Heather live, I couldn't believe, of all the fantastic material, she chose to include Widescreen in the set

I don't hate any Heather songs, but there are some song I don't like as much as the others.
- Maybe an Angel (I think the album version is quite lame compared to some of the live versions) - Walk this world (heard it too much live) - Waste the day (cheap)

Three people have mentioned Help Me Be Good To You? Wow. To me it's one of the three best songs on South. So heartfelt and beautiful, very Storm-like (that's a good thing!).
But I could quibble with most of these... Maybe An Angel has too many good points to be lumped in here, and Shell... I mean, Shell is awesome. Really, all songs on Glow Stars and Oyster are at least good. And even the weaker songs on Storm are decent and contribute well to the wonderful feel of the album. But it's clear that we all like Heather Nova for very different reasons. It's inevitable that we are so fractured since Heather has released five very different albums with very different styles.

If I had to pick 3 down songs, I mean if someone pointed a gun at my head and said pick 3! ('Cause I really love her), then they would be;
1. Her cover of Many rivers to cross. It's just a little too loud on that first few notes. And it gets to me. I don't like this song normally anyway, so meh. 2. I'm no angel. 3. Talk to me. It doesn't really work with me.

Not sure about the three slot. They all have OK music and bad lyrics to me. But Not Only Human, sadly, is knocked clean out of my bottom three.
