Heather didn't play that Telecaster often live, did she? Usually she plays the Taylor T5 during the more rocking songs, when she is on tour with the whole band. But perhaps i just don't remember anymore.

You're probably right ; I doubt Heather would sell the guitars she likes to play best.

I would for sure bid for her Taylor T5! It's beautiful! Told Heather years ago. But ths guitar she will never sell.

I like the wood of this Telecaster, but I doubt I will bid. Would be a nice decoration item so on the wall for me.

Gerd, you can put a picture of a guitar on the wall, but a guitar should not just be a decoration object, but should be played, imho. To me that’s also an act of respect for the guitar builder(s), even if it’s "only" factory-made (and not custom-made).
Of course it’s up to you, what you do with your purchased guitars, but I feel it’s really a pity, if instruments are not played. Sorry, just my two cents and not meant offending!

(The auction of the Telecaster is already over anyway, btw.)

I agree. I did not bid on it. I definitely wanted it to go to a home where it would be played. I hope someone got it that will really enjoy it.
