Great find, thanks!
Nice lyric sheet (so they were in the package) with these beautiful words from Walking higher. I guess I would frame it, a suitable item for a little remembrance place.

Ha, congratulations!

I'm both 43 years and at 43 concerts. You have seen her more than me!

When choosing the VIP option, you could decide which lyrics you want written by Heather on your personal lyrics sheet.
It was supposed so for Oyster lyrics. I went for "It's the sprit in you ..." with apologize for wanting something from glow stars.

Sure true
There was a concert in Stuttgart, that I attended with a Heather Nova ticket. Eskobar was support act and they performed, but Heather didn't show up.

Unfortunatelly she got a cold and had to postpone the concert till the next year. Very sad for her and the audience. Heather performed some month later and the tickets where still valid! I t was really great she did that.

I was in Stuttgart at the cancelled gig as well, but had no time to visit the concert there a half year later.

Well, I got the money back, but without the fees etc, and without the train tickets and the hotel, of course. So I paid a lot just to see Eskobar...

As Stuttgart was the only concert I visited in fall 2001, I didn't see her on that tour. Still sad about it!

Well Arnulf is usually telling at the concerts, that the show is recorded and will be available some days later. Heather is telling that Arnulf works often till 3 o'clock in the night for the recording, splitting the songs, mixing and so on. Sometimes he is correcting her by saying till 4 or 5 a.m. Anyway, great Job and a big thank you to Arnulf!
He is a very nice guy and I love is humor and he is always avaliable for a surprise. We made a funny pic together Not sure if i can share.

The downloads for the Belgian concerts are online, too. Only 13 songs from Leuven though, due to a recording issue (but it's only Euro 10 apparently for that).

That was quick. Why is the booklet cheaper in the shop then it was at the shows, though?

Still waiting for the announcement of a New York show...

I wondered as well, but you had the possibility to sign the booklet after the show, and most people did that.

You still have to pay the shipping for the booklet, maybe this explains. Anyway the book is worth to get.

I Wanna Be Your Light

Sugar is on Youtube so!

Oh, I won't miss Like Lovers Do and I Wanna Be your light, since they are not my favourite songs (though they were brilliantly performed).
Sea Glass is not on Oyster, so well, it dosen't matter if they are not on the recording.
For Sugar, it's too bad - it rocked incredibly !

I don't know if the sound on Youtube video is good enough to extract it and add it at the end of the rest. I'm still in Leuven tonight and using a computer whose sound isn't great.

I just downloaded Hamburg and Köln, unfurtunatly the same problem than in 2016: They made a split after every song. Makes it impossible to listen to the whole concert. I hope I will get unsplittet files!

Arnulf told me not to cut anything out, just split it songwise.

The show is complete but I want to listen to the entire show without pressing the play button after each song. I like to have it as one file, like the second version of the 2016 Köln show that was available as one single file (because of my request).

Too bad she doesn't release any cd or dvd live from this tour...
What a miss...
I 'll buy some mp3s but it's not the same...
It 's a very strange way to promote her worldwide...Oyster was one of her best seller...
A lot of less famous singers are releasing live dvd so why not her ?
It's very easy now to use crowfunding to fund it.
I 'll buy the tour book but...
By the way, do you think like me that her new website isn't attractive at all?
Sorry to say that any digital student could have done a better one...

frenchcandle, you are 100% right! It was a great tour (I saw two concerts) and it is a shame that no show was flmed. Nowdays it is not that expensive to film a show with 3 or 4 cameras. Even pressing a few hundred DVDs is possible. Without the TV stations, that filmed a lot in the past, we would only have one Live DVD. Unbelievable.

I had the same foughts about crowdfunding. I think it should be possible for Heather to produce a Oyster Live DVD and to make some money with it. I have no problem to pay 30 Euros or more for a DVD or better Blu Ray with a nice booklet.

Attached is the "Sold Out" sign from the Cologne concert. Did somebody photographed the tour poster with this sign?

I really liked the "The jasmine flower" layout of her website. I remember, there were all her song lyrics - even b-sides - on it. (But perhaps the webmaster back then just copied Cass’ work here. )

Well, I think it’s an issue, since the social media platforms have become so strong, that a lot of artists or even organizations or companies put less effort in their websites, hardly update anymore and use mainly facebook & co. A pity, in my opinion, as I see fb quite critical. (I still have no account on any social network service.)

Forums have become less important, too, and discussions have moved to fb as well. Hardly any guestbooks (or at least entries) on websites anymore either.
But with that, a lot of fans don’t even look on websites or in forums anymore, because they think, that there are no news anyway. Regarding Heather, too bad, as I guess, the HNN forum is more up-to-date than any other place, thanks to members (especially Bernd) here, caring about the forum and sharing news (concert dates, videos, etc...).

Funnily, some years ago, every artist used to have an account on Myspace, which seems to have vanished completely now. The virtual world changes so quickly, I wonder how it will be in only 10 years from now.

The reason why there will be no live CD/DVD from that tour is most likely still the same reason why all Oyster songs were cut out from the Union Chapel recording in 2003. There are legal problems, she doesn't own the Oyster songs anymore. It would be way too expensive to clear the rights, so we will never see any Oyster songs on live CD's/DVD's anymore, as the label seems to have no interest to release an Oyster live album by itself.

Why this is no problem for the mp3's downloads, I don't know. Maybe in the contract with her label, mp3's were excluded or only CD's and DVD's were mentioned.

By the way, about the news: I'm not on any list by her labels, tour promoters, whoever. Almost never I get an e-mail with news. All I do is using google, but this almost daily. So I get my information.

I don't like her official website either. I still think it's funny they forgot mentioning Redbird in the albums section. But websites are by far not that important anymore as they were some years ago. Her facebook site is probably much more important. I like her instagram site best.

Of course i known the legal problems she had with her back catalogue even if like you i don't understand why she can play the full album live and sell some mp3s and can't release a full live cd on her own label...
i know when she wanted to release a best-of some years ago she was fighting for but didn't seem to win but as live performances i don't understand what happens...

By the way, tell me why she didn't release any live or official dvds of her music since she is an independant artist so far ?

Groningen 2006 was planned...

At least there were some very notable tv appearances like Basel 2013 or Berlin live 2016 or 2 Meter Sessies 2011... Also the Hendon Studios 2014 video (not on tv).

For Groningen, she had left Mothertongue on it.
So, Glow Stars Songs are probably OK.
Oyster, Siren and South are probably the album that matter.
Next tour : a Glow Stars / Storm / Redbird / Jasmine Flower / 300Days The Way It Feels / rarities tour, a live CD and a DVD !

We should send a petition to Heather for that, especially for a Glowstars tour! Would be so awesome to hear some never played songs live...

Very cool, indeed.
Heather speaks about all the process, from the recording to the tour, , with the promo, a word about the musicians (and leaves the musicians the space to speak for themselves).
There are nice old pics, the story (or something approaching) behind every song, well, it's a bit fragile, but it's exactly the kind of item I'd order for each CD, even for my "bottom 3e" (South, Redbird, 300 Days - each contains some good songs, but...).

I still try to live in the memories of the tour, somehow extending it for myself as well. Would love to join further concerts every day. I am still looking daily videos that I made on the tour. Will try to add the official audio to it and share somehow later.
I think since 14+ years I try to go to every concert of Heather. The energy she gives to you is simply amazing, if it is a acoustic concert or with the band, simply wonderful.
And I hope I give much energy back to her by joining concerts again and again.
Still a lifetime task for me is to get an overview and to sort my, audio, video an physical items collection.

The book is wonderful. Very personal insight of her feelings. Would love to have this as well for all the other albums. Hopefully she does further album tours like this!

I wouldn't mind so if she tours with new songs/new album soon! Whatever Heather is planning, hope she will be back soon on tour. I will try to join as often as possible.
