Yes, I was wondering, too! Maybe something went wrong with the recording at the first concert, but perhaps it will be online later.

Excellent news!

She only played home at the first concert which isn't available, though, right?

Great !

I'll wait until the end of the tour, just in case Home is played again on a recorded show.

Home is included in the Munich show! Don't wait. It will not come on any upcoming show.

How do you know? Has she told you she won't play it again? Has she told you a reason for it?

Have just listened to Home – really beautiful with the backing vocals and cello! And now Blind – wow!!

Another highlight for me is Blue Black, which hasn't been played live since ages. Such a significant song. Just lately I have thought that I like it so much, because Heather admits the abuse that has happened, but as she is looking back on it (as she was writing the song) you can tell she has become so much stronger from it. There is this confidence and strength in the lyrics, that she is no longer the victim, but the man, who did that to her, is the weak one.
I love lines like "maybe you got something but the flowers grew back...", "you never got my virgin heart..." or "I never felt so clean... you couldn’t take it with you". Really one of the most extraordinary songs by Heather. This honesty is one of the reasons, why she is such a remarkable songwriter.

It's unlikely, indeed, that home will be played again, but you never know.

Besides, I don't need to download anything now, since I wouldn't listen before going to the show anyway.

I got to hear Blue Black live in 2006, but not Throwing Fire, Maybe An Angel, Light Years, or Verona. I think I've heard Heal and Truth and Bone but would have to check, ha. I should compile all the setlists of the live shows I've been to. With and without Berit is a big difference, of course, but I also heard Sugar with Berit 11 years ago.

Good to hear Home was played in Munich! Will have to check it out. Y'all are so fortunate.

Anyone know why it's unlikely we'll here "Home" again?? I was so hoping to hear this AND "Like A Hurricane" in Amsterdam (LAH too looks now unlikely also!!) - plus, anyone had the VIP experience yet?? (was wondering what the bonus merchandise looked like)... :)

I hope in Cologne is one left for me...
By the way, how much does it cost?
Which format? Maybe A5? A4?

then an Intro, followed by the capitals:

Production
The musicians
Promotions
Touring
Artwork
A word from Kevist westenberg
Oyster in their own words (Nadia, David, Felix, Youth)
walk this world video
the songs
the fans

The book is really wonderful, sold out but will be back!
I love the fans section. The very end of the booklet is:

"I've made some wonderful friends and I am always so touched when I see someone at a gig who was there 20 years ago. Thank you. I wouldn't be here today without you!"

According to the merchandise pic, which I’ve posted in the Munich thread, I think it’s A5 format and Euro 20. But I recall Gerd wrote me Euro 15. Gerd!?? And please tell us, how do you know that Home isn’t played anymore!?? Just your guess or did you ask Heather?

The book has 40 pages inside and has A4 size (about 21x30cm). I am not 100% about the price of the book, but i think I paid 15€. The book should be available tonight.

For the Vinyl, the price definitely changed. I was 30€ in Frankfurt.

It is just a feeling that I got. I haven't yet asked Heather.
I asked Arnulf in Frankfurt. He was not 100% sure but said that Heather thinks the set would be to long with Home included.

Better skip Like Lovers Do, Winterblue, or I Wanna Be Your Light instead of Home or Like A Hurricane.

This individual has been seen at all Heather Nova shows, in fact the rumor is that he has been to more Heather shows than Heather herself. 149 and counting.

If it hadn't have been for Parkinson's, I am imagining Heather, Arnulf, Berit, and Nadia all performing together on stage as an all-star band. Would've been quite something to hear.

Y'all are so lucky to hear Arnulf and Berit together. Really want to hear Berit play again...

The fun fact is, until now, I've only heard acoustic Sugar live, precisely the song she had refused to play acoustic during years.
The Sugar with Fiona Pears and Ian Tillman was absolutely fantastic and incredibly powerful, but the version with just Heather and Arnulf wasn't as brilliant (though very cool. But a bit less. )

It will be my 1st electric Sugar, and I can wait !

I got my first Sugar and Blue Black and Make You Mine back in 2006 with Berit at my first concert. I should listen to the audience recording I have of that somewhere. There's been nothing like it. Oh, and she even played Just Been Born. Gosh that was something.

(I've loved the acoustic concerts since but wow was it a really powerful experience. Sugar live the first time was probably the most emotional moment I've had at a concert? Felt so much like everyone sharing in an experience, reliving former pains... not sure how to put it into words. Tried to write a poem about it many many years ago but it didn't work.)

Enjoy Sugar!

1st Sugar live was quite something, I'd find difficult to describe, indeed.

I'l guess I'll feel something similar with my 1st Oyster tour !

Might Yearts (already heard once) + Verona (never heard) +6 Sutgar with Berit (only heard acoustic) + blue Black (never heard) + Blind (never heard, of course), good old Island, Heal + rare Maybe An Angel, rare Throwing Fire At The Sun, rare Walking higher... wow.

As I’m listening to the Munich concert, some impressions:
Awesome rocking version of Sugar – Berit at her best! She’s one of my two guitar heroines.
Truth and Bone is more like on the album than on the single. (I hoped for the latter as it’s my favourite version so far.)
Light years is pretty close to the version she played in Vienna 2008 – absolutely love it!
Throwing fire at the sun now this time with the 3rd verse (unlike in Vienna 2011 where she skipped it for whatever reason).
Island is deeply touching and disturbing for me as always.
Doubled up is such a beautiful song with some nice backing vocals this time, as well as Walking higher.

And I don’t know when Bastian Juel had joined Heather’s band back then, but somehow I had slightly expected him on bass and Arnulf on cello. But then this wonderful arrangement of Blind with two cellos wouldn’t have been possible - really something special. Great, they found Midori Jaeger for this tour.
Blind and Home are definitely two of the highlights for me.
