So... apparently I have started a CocoRosie fanbase in DC, and I guess, by extension, Julie is responsible. Congrats, Julie!

I turned a friend of mine onto CocoRosie and he's introduced several of his friends and they're alll gonna go to see CocoRosie in November when they come to DC. This will be the third time he's seen them live!

Trying to decide whether to go. Never seen them live, only own one of their albums. Will probably listen to some more of their music before deciding.

I've seen them twice. I like them very much, but it's still ambivalent. For example, beatboxing is not my thing at all. But they are great performers and have great talent.

My friend told me how much he liked that they had a beatboxer at the last show he went to.

Doors open at 10pm on a Thursday night, though, and the show probably wouldn't start till 11. No metro after midnight, so would have to take a cab home and maybe come in late the next day. On the other hand, I don't go to enough concerts. Hmm.
