So... let's try to guess when Heather's next public concert in the mainland United States will be. Whoever is closest to the actual date wins.

I'll guess March 5, 2013.

Does "mainland United States" include the Federal District, Alaska, and Hawaii? Maybe it's easier for her to do Canadian tourdates, as being half-Canadian, though. Would Canada be ok, as well?

I'll define mainland USA to include all states, DC, but not Hawaii, and no territories, since that's the simplest definition of mainland. Including Alaska, but I don't think that's gonna happen...

And no, Canada would not count. Heather said "US".

I got the tweet too. I'm super excited! I'm guessing New York again? Well, who cares. Wherever she decides to go, I will be there!!!

Very exciting. Maybe a late Spring set of a few dates, maybe 5 shows. Coming to the US not only lets US fans have a chance to see her live, which they have been pining for, but it gives Heather a chance to expose Sebastion to new experiences and new cities in the US. I think it could well happen.

OK. My guess is April 20. No reason why, other than it is a Saturday.

I'm actually taking this with a big grain of salt, since Heather's said US tours are likely before and they haven't panned out. It seems like there are some tough logistical challenges to such a thing. We'll see though.

I was tempted to pick something like 2015, but I figured I might as well be positive.

I sure hope she does at least a few shows in the US at some point in the near future. People on heathernova.net are really great in posting such wonderful reviews, photos, and videos of Heather playing elsewhere (and I'm extremely grateful and appreciative of those that do), but by the same token, it's depressing to a certain degree! I couldn't even bring myself to coming here for awhile because I couldn't stand reading about all of the great live experiences everybody was having that I couldn't share in! If it was financially feasible for me to fly to Europe to see her, I would, but I can't, so I sulk and hope she comes here. I don't care where in the US (although I couldn't swing Hawaii or Alaska).

So, if we're playing the guessing game - my optimistic side says March 2013. My realistic side says by March 2015. My pessimistic side says never. I really HATE my pessimistic side! : )

I think she will play in Nov 2012 in Florida. Maybe Maimi, Tampa or St. Petersburg. But the best place would be Cape Coral or Fort Myers.

Why? I will be there.

I'm starting to get nervous about the lack of dates. You'd think we'd hear something around the time the CD is released. Who knows how long this takes, though, or how likely this will be to pan out.
