just got home. excellent show. very good sound and voice. around 500 people. great setlist. one of the best shows i saw the past few years

I enjoyed this show much more than last week in Gent. Very small venue. One of the most annoying support acts I ever seen!!

Moerie said the setlist was pretty much the same as in Ghent, but I wouldn't remember because I took pics in Ghent, so I didn't focus on the music.
Yesterday I heard great versions of Stay, Make you mine, Truth and bone ... songs we don't hear on every concert. What worries me though is that Heather can't sell out a 650 people venue any more ! Same story for Ghent (1000 people). Both places weren't sold out, but quite full. Where is the time Heather sold out AB 2 nights in a row. I don't know why it is. Maybe she tours too much, or else young people don't know her music and she doesn't make any new fans and some old fans quit ?

The support act, Stephany June, was not a 'singer songwriter' but a 'classic rock' band with musicians that looked like they played in Whitesnake.
Most striking feature was the voice of the singer. You liked it or you didn't. Her childlike voice sounded a lot of Ali of the band Cranes, but with Cranes I like this voice as it fits the music. To Stephany Junes music it didn't fit... I wonder where they get all these support acts that have nothing in common with the main act or are a completely different thing ! Or just plain bad !

Just uploaded yesterday's recording to my hard drive. (In the end, I did record because Idefix asked).
Kinda strange recording. For the first time, I have been able to make an audiencerecording with a real "stereo"-feeling. I really like this recording. Not so good as Gent, but there is a raw feeling to it. Give me some time to work on these. Anybody has an idea where to upload them. Its seems megaupload is gone....

Mmm, she played Stay & Make you mine in Ghent as well. I love "Truth and Bone", one of the best songs she's ever made.
