"My first memory of music was listening to the Beatles. My parents were great music fans; there was always a record playing, and more often than not it was a Beatles album, so John Lennon was one of my original influences. Norwegian Wood always captivated me; i loved the riff, the melody, the detail in the lyric and I loved the mystery - never quite knowing what the story was actually about. As i grew up the song spoke directly to me about that loss of innocence; that realization that something was not what you thought... the bittersweetness of love. it's an honour to cover such a great song by such a brilliant songwriter!"
