Introduce slowly. Though brother and sister, enough time might have lapsed for him to have forgotten her. Keep the new one in a separate room for a few days. Let your cat get accustomed to the new kitty's scent and the fact that there is something there. Then remove the new kitty and let current kitty look around the room she was in. This will allow him to get more used to the new kitty's scent.
It will be good for your cat to have a new playmate. Good luck!

This is not a happy post.. My cat passed away tonight, he wasn't too old or sick, he just felt bad and it took a few hours till he finally died.

Losing a cat sucks, even if they're old. I still really miss Blackberry, who I grew up with, and he died something like 7 years ago.
