Replay Media Catcher works directly with fabchannel. I wonder why it doesn't work for you. The result should be a 517MB Flash Video File (FLV).

It downloads only the advertisment at the beginning nothing else. Tried it now on different systems dont know what the problem is.

Well the support page describes how to download the video from the embeded player which has a poor quality.

I am testing it right now. For me it seems still to work. All you need to do is copy the following URL in your browser - i am using Firefox - while Media Catcher is running. It automatically records the video when you play the video.

That works thanks. Dont know exactly why my recording looks better seems the player or codec deblocked the video.

I know the video is quite in a small size. Anyway, Heather is considering to release it as official video. So there is hope to get a better version on DVD.

you can watch the video all day on fabchannel, can even skip songs if needed. So why is it needed as download? Heather will most likely release this video officially this year anyway.

I really hope there will be an official *complete* live DVD available.

Apparently fabchannel changed their website in January so that now it is impossible to capture the exact streaming file.

Anyway I will keep you updated here if they update the software and then I will test it again.

I agree that a properly mixed DVD from the show would have been awsome.

I would prefer the entire concert, but will that would require to bring two record together, which might be impossible. Record companies are thinking of money and they do no take care about fan requests.

Bad news for everyone here who loves FabChannel.

Fabchannel announced today it will stop recording and publishing online concerts from Milky Way and Paradiso. As if that is not bad enough for future concerts, it will also take the whole archive off line as per Friday March 13, next week(!!) - Talking about sense of timing......

FabChannels has found it difficult over the last months to achive their ambitious targets, mostly due to partner media-companies that are quite critical which artists can be published, which results in too little (foreign) vistors, which in return put a negative on advertisement income.
