Oh Nicole, I remember it. I saw it in 1982. Maybe not live, as I was a little kid, but she got very famous in Germany afterwards.

Btw, Abba won with Waterloo the Song Contest, and Waterloo was the #1 hit in Germany on the day I was born!

Can't format that quote field competently. Oops.
And I'll just have to call you Arthur from now on, Bernd

Yes, that's a known mistake in the forums software. It's not your fault. Sometimes (or always?) when someone quotes a link, the format gets destroyed.

Actually, that was a total fluke: I did nothing different to on the previous occasion.

Which is probably a good metaphor for life, said the teacher

I've heard the German participant this morning. I would be surprised if this song doesn't finish last.

Wow, they even beat Ukraine’s Verka Serduchka and Austria’s Alf Poier!

I guess my sister will be very surprised seeing this because I think she became an Ireland fan back in the early 90’s mostly because she was so fond of Liam Reilly and Johnny Logan at that time.

But I can understand artists (especially those from mid/western Europe) performing such songs and fooling this entire event.

that's f***ing awful...possibly the worst "song" i have ever heard in my life. It will probably win. I've known of Dustin for years of course since his days with Zig and Zag. I didn't like him then and I certainly don't like him now.

Yes, Ireland finished last one year ago, I'm quote sure they have good chances now to win.

Eskobar was in the Swedish Melodifestivalen (winner goes to eurovision), they ended last. Swedes music taste suck!

WTF????

It's so funny that the Swedes take this competition SO seriously, it's life and death for them and then the other countries in Europe makes it a big joke, haahahahahha.

Do you think I'm glad Eskobar finished last?

I heard Belgium yesterday. The country has three official languages and they still pick one singing in an artificial language.

I love Bosnia's contribution! They are always entering great songs.

Totally beats all the other crappy songs.

In about 20 hours this crazy contest starts. Well it wasn't crazy in the past, but people luckily take this contest not that serious as in the past and try just to vote for the funy stuff
