John Butler is excellent!

I just bought Colbie Caillat. Not too bad. My girlfriend loves it.

* Cat Power - The Covers Record (live album, 2000)
* Cat Power - The Greatest (album, 2006)
* Cat Power - Jukebox (album, 2008)
* Kate Nash - Made Of Bricks (album, 2007)

I have bought yesterday in a second hand CD shop in town:

* Tracy Bonham - Down Here (album, 2000, second hand)
* Ruby - Paraffin (single, 1995, second hand, contains a Red Snapper Mix from "Thair, Ayers, Friend"!)

I have bought today on amazon, let's hope I will get them soon:

* Regina Spektor - Begin To Hope (Special Edition, with bonus CD, album, 2006)
* Regina Spektor - Live @ Bull Moose EP (live EP, 2005, UK-Import)

I have bought today on ebay, let's hope I will get them soon:

* Tracy Bonham - The Burdens of being upright (album, 1996)
* Tracy Bonham - Mother Mother (single, 1996, with a live 50ft Queenie PJ Harvey cover!)

I am currently the highest bidder on these three items on ebay, let's hope I will win them:

* The Kelley Deal 6000: Go To The Sugar Altar + Canyon 2-CD (album, 1996, with bonus CD Canyon)
* The Kelley Deal 6000: Canyon + How About Hero (promo single, 1996)
* The Kelley Deal 6000: Brillo Hunt + My Boyfriend Died (single, 1997)

Has anyone even more suggestions what I should buy?

What?

On the CocoRosie albums, there is sometimes a male singer, on two or three songs. That's more than enough.

Or the new Heather Nova Album

And the new Alanis Morissette Album

I already bought the A Fine Frenzy album in November as Christmas present for someone else, so I do not own it anymore. It is a good album, but no album that I *really* need to have.

The songs from Lou Rhodes on her myspace page do not convince me.

I'm not interested in Alanis Morissette anymore at all - I loved Jagged Little Pill back in 1995/96 and I liked Under Rug Swept; but I feel she is definitely past for me. I have lost any interest.

And Heather's new album... well, I will think about it.

now now Bernd, come on fella, it's time you accepted that not all singers need to have breasts to be able to sing.
