Is it about German soccer only? If it is a green digi-pack, it must be the one I got for a birthday present.

Queens of the Stone Age - Era Vulgaris

The first new released album I bought this year (and I'm not sure if there's more to come). Up to now I'm undecided, it seems ok, but not a masterpiece.

Ah, yes, that's the one. Didn't listen much to it yet. It's more like a documentary feature on radio (like on BR 2).
The one you sent me is better, I had the impression. But it's ok. (it contains the famous and f***ikng radio conference when FCN..., well, you can guess).

Dour is close to the French border, but still in Belgium, +- 120 km from Antwerp.

It's a very 'alternative', eclectical festival : lots of bands and stages, but no big names.

Very much unlike Werchter for instance.

I recently bought Säkert!, Swedish singer who's also known as Hello Saferide.

When I bought it the cashier asked me "Do you want it wrapped as a present or is it for yourself?"
me: "well, it's a present for myself"
cashier: "so don't wrap it in then"
me: "Oh please do, I like getting presents"
cashier: ... okay...

Guano Apes - Lord of the boards.

This band is very cool in a dirtier BELLY kind of way. Check it out. Songs like "maria" are true chop guitar traks.

Yeah, a German band that was very succesful at the end of the Nineties. I'm not sure if they still exist. "Proud Like a God" was an enjoyable album.

he's very good, yes.
i think i know him from Babylon, a song which i know from some compilation cd of my dad's. then he kinda disappeared out of my life till i came to live in Groningen and my friend&housemate was totally into David Gray's White ladder for a while, so she refreshed my memory and now he's here to stay

do either of you know his early stuff? I think A Century Ends is his best album. I know people that think White Ladder was his first album when it's his 4th

(Great choice Bene, Dinosaur Jr are so very under-appreciated in the music world). They did a track for the Judgement Night soundtrack that still blows me away to this day!
