A big hello to everyone on the forums!

It's been a long while since I have read the posts here, and I'm thankful, that the account is still working!
I hope, my english hasn't got to rusty in the meantime.

A lot has happend in the meantime, in the family and also at the job.
I have finnished my studies last year compleedly and am working now. But I decided, to do a doctorate beside the work. This is a project, that is eating my speartime up. But I love it and hope to finish the project this year.
Imagine: I even missed Heathers tour last year! I'm still a bit sad about that.

I only wanted to say hi to you all and hope, you are well. I haven't forgotten about this place here and hope to come back sooner or later!

Best wishes!

@ Idefix:
I mostly buy the tickets at the lokal tourist-information. So I get the ticket without shiping-costs.
There are also stores from newspapers, where tickets are solt.

I plan on going to the cologne-concert. The E-Werk was nice the last time!

I don't know, but for me it looks like a new bonus-song on musicload.de named "He's spiritual".

Yes, there were two clips before the show started, the first was longer then the second one.
Parts of the London Rain video were in both of them.

I'll see if I can record the clips again, if they are aired again.

This album is great! I was finally able to listen to it today and it has kind of blown me away!

I don't know how Heather makes it, but she manages to surprise me again and again! I like the rock-sound and the nice contrast to the quieter songs! I realy love how she is interpreting "burning to love"!
This is the first impression I got. For a closer look at every song I need to listen to it a view times more.

There is also a chance to win concert-tickets for berlin on the german amazon homepage. I found it while searching for Heather.

I'm still trying to download the little-promotion-video they also have there, but it's not working.

Do you mean the 32-second Promo Video on this page:

http://www.amazon.de/300-Days-Sea-Heather-Nova/dp/B004SB5V5Q

Here it is along with the 3 other short promo videos that had already been done:

Thank you! Chris also helped me! You guys are great!

I watched it too and I agree with you, Bernd. I had the feeling, that they cut a lot from Heather's text, mostly before the "Higher ground" video. Really a pitty!

I recorded the whole show, even got the most part of a clip, that was made to inform the people about the one who is hosting the show this time. But since this was aired 10 minutes before, I missed the beginning; I coundn't grab my remote control so fast. I hope that I will be able get the recording on my computer. If this works, the only thing I don't have is space to upload it and make it available for everyone.

Does anyone know of these SWR and HR3 sessions? (Both are German radio/tv channels.)

I only found this article:
http://www.hr-online.de/website/rubri ... tandard_document_41648327

or with the same content:
http://www.hr-online.de/website/radio ... andard_rezension_41644963

300 Days is the "CD of the Week" on the hr1-radio.

They also aired it on the radio with parts of an interview with Heather. This is also available as a potcast.
http://www.hr-online.de/website/radio/hr1/index.jsp?rubrik=20014

But note, that both is in german. The speaker even translated Heathers words.

The SWR-Homepage only showed a biography and some older information, but nothing new.

@ cappy44: thank you for the download!

I like the song! Since I haven't heard it on the last tour, it's nice the get an appetizer of the new album. Yes, I know this is differend from the arrangement she played on the tour and I must admit, that I'm looking foreward to a rockier album from Heather again!

I don't belive it's possible for me to switch everything at this time today, because the football-game is running then. Perhaps I'll switch the lights off, if it's possible and the ones watching with me do not complain. I'm already saving energy every day as much as I can and I guess this is better in the long run.

But I also thing this is a good action, that is definitely needing more attention in the media! I remember, last year I heard about it for the first time on the radio at the day it took place. I don't know if I would know it is today, if you hadn't posted it.

Hey, great! I have got it, too, as all of her albums. Melissa's not just a fantastic singer and songwriter but an excellent guitarist plus she plays a lot of other instruments as well. And she has something to say.
At the moment i enjoy listening to her cd "A new thought of christmas". Great lyrics on it as always and Philip Sayce' guitar playing on it is a real treat.

Oh, I didn't knew that! A nice info!

I have only 2 albums, the best of and frearless love. But I have been thinking about getting one of the others.

I hope you all had and still have some nice days with family and friends!
For me nothing went exactly as it was planed thanks to the much snow and ice on the streets. But we managed to get the importend things done and had a good time with our loved ones and that's what matters.
