Hey Bernd, maybe Heather made a video for Don't Stop Believin before she met Vincent. I feel like the cover song has been played in concerts many years ago, but I'm not sure. Maybe in the back of her mind, she wanted to do a covers album but didn't have enough she wanted to do for an album until this time around. Also, I'm not sure how rights are involved since the album is a covers album.

In a way, I wish I knew people I could host who needed a place. I would be concerned about my own safety though and my interest in dating currently. For any website out there that attempted to serve this purpose, it would be hard to verify who is who potentially.

I'm really getting into Annie's latest album.
Just happened upon it through Spotify.

She's a Norwegian artist.

I think is has an 80s vibe to it.
Very ambient, but lyrical and well done.

I had her first two albums until a few months ago. There was a sudden surge in her albums and I had no idea. I sold both for $15 or $20. I wish I had sold each for $20, lol. She has a new one out in physical form as well now, which is apparently a combination of her two most recent EPs put together in physical form I like Sorry, her new one- Thank U 4 Taking Me 2 The Disco, Id Like 2 Go Home Now, and some of her non-singles before her self-titled such as Tennessee.

I thought her Take Me to the Disco seemed too lyrically off for me. "Jealous Sea" didn't seem like a good metaphor for "jealousy" to me. I like Numb, but I'm not crazy about the production on the other songs. It isn't bad- but it doesn't interest me. The lyrics aren't catchy enough for me either.

I do not personally know Jitsi.

I had to invite people to the server apparently.

Also, we figured out that Firefox doesn't load video, and that Edge and Chrome do work with video.

Discord is nice in that it has a lot of functionality for free, but it is hard for some people to understand. So, there is a poll to consider other options now, or maybe we could even consider something like Zoom for 1- a few meetups and then Discord afterward to get more people at least acquainted with each other.

Discord can be used as a website in a browser or an app on a mobile phone or Windows 10. No additional installation is required for a computer, but you should register for a free nick name.

It is a communication app/website that has the option for audio or video. It also allows for screen sharing. I do not have a paid zoom account, and I'm too cheap to pay for one. If someone has one, it is a mode we could consider and doing an interactive fiction game (i.e. Myst, Botanicula, Samsorost) with potential remote control privileges is a potential group activity option as well.

During this time, we can talk and/or video chat, share some music randomly, and there are some games we can consider to pass the time too. Jigsaws work well with talking but not letting the conversations drone on and possibly still keeping people engaged.

Basic level escape rooms and Yahtzee can be done for group settings.

Most activities would be easier to do on a desktop or laptop, and possibly iPad would be okay.

It's a lot of work, but she could do a Kickstarter to try to revive this idea. She could possibly build up enough funding to buy off the rights or work in collaboration with the company/companies owning the rights to make a profit as it's harder for companies to make a profit right now that aren't essential. So, being more "outside the box" may have more potential than usual.

It makes me be thankful for the good times and my good attempts in-person before. I'm still open to meeting people socially distancing and such, but my expectations for quality of communication and reciprocation are ten fold higher now.

Ridiculous Thoughts not as popular overall, but is an interesting sound that I might have a voice for. Dreams is my personal favorite. There are at least two versions of that video, and I'm surprised that song didn't become more popular in the US.

I have a few albums with bonus live CDs. I want to get the latest album CD of theirs, especially since it has Dreams, and maybe upgrade two of my CDs to the bonus track versions. (Everybody Else and No Need)
