@57Arietis

i think "Don't Worry What the Experts Say" is the best one so far imo but probably because there's something in it that reminds me of STORM , probably one her best album.

about their rock songs, there's something mellowing in the production now that i don't really like at all...

sorry for the link, i don't understand why it doesn't work for some of you ???

Strange because it's her official youtube channel...

But i understand you : i'm not very impressed by the first three tracks so far...
Not bad songs but far from her best ones...
The production is ok but well... no original ideas in term of rythm and voices.
I would like her to be a little bit «out of the box» and less predictable.
And i'm looking for the rock album she promised...
So far, i prefer the previous album but perharps the unveiled tracks will change my mind

i agree with you...

Not a bad one but so so predictable ...nothing to stand out.

Even the vocals aren't very striking imo...her voice sounds boring...

And this isn't a very good choice for a first single i think ...a mellow song with no dynamic, a "remote control" beat...and yes a very forgettable song in the light of her discography.

The video is ok but nothing new or surprising from it...

a little bit disapointing...

Of course i known the legal problems she had with her back catalogue even if like you i don't understand why she can play the full album live and sell some mp3s and can't release a full live cd on her own label...
i know when she wanted to release a best-of some years ago she was fighting for but didn't seem to win but as live performances i don't understand what happens...

By the way, tell me why she didn't release any live or official dvds of her music since she is an independant artist so far ?

Too bad she doesn't release any cd or dvd live from this tour...
What a miss...
I 'll buy some mp3s but it's not the same...
It 's a very strange way to promote her worldwide...Oyster was one of her best seller...
A lot of less famous singers are releasing live dvd so why not her ?
It's very easy now to use crowfunding to fund it.
I 'll buy the tour book but...
By the way, do you think like me that her new website isn't attractive at all?
Sorry to say that any digital student could have done a better one...

At the same time tonight, "Eagles of Death Metal" will be playing at l'Olympia attended by many survivors of the November jihadist terror attack on the Bataclan concert hall.

Many survivors have already got together thanks to a Facebook Page called "Life for Paris" - designed to help them share experiences over that terrible night.

so a very very special night.

Since this tragic night, Hemingway's classic memoir of Paris in the 1920s "A Moveable Feast" is out of stock here in France.

very sad news for those who love rock shows...

"We are sad to announce that the stage designer and architect Mark Fisher, OBE, MVO, RDI, died yesterday in London aged 66.

He passed away peacefully in his sleep at the Marie Curie Hospice in Hampstead with his wife Cristina at his side, after a long and difficult illness, which he suffered with stoicism and courage and his customary good humor.

Mark’s work as a set designer and artistic director has transformed the landscape of rock concerts and large scale events over the last 25 years.

Together with his practice Stufish, Mark created the groundbreaking designs for all the Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, and U2 tours for two decades as well as scores of other artists all over the world.

As well as his work in live music performance he also created designs for theatre productions and musical theatre including We Will Rock You, and Ka and Viva Elvis for Cirque du Soleil.

He was the senior designer for the Beijing Olympics Opening and Closing Ceremonies and was one of the three executive producers at the London 2012 Games ceremonies.

His work influenced not only the colleagues and crews with whom he worked but also surprised and delighted the many millions of people who experienced his designs all over the world.
