It's very tempting ... Sales start tomorrow (saturday 11/2) at 9.00 o clock. There is also a gig in Düsseldorf that week. Like I thought, it would be weird Heather only coming to Europe for one gig.

The funny thing is, at our meet and greet end of november, Heather told me she wouldn't tour this year because there has to be demand and she already did a lot of gigs last year. Wait and see.

I still find it weird Heather would cross the ocean for one gig and months before the festival season starts, I hope there will be more gigs around that time. If somebody knows, keep us updated please !

@ Bernd, she's not top off the bill, that's Flip Kowlier, a local singer. It's a tiny festival with no huge artists.

It would be weird if Heather would only do one gig that month ... Fingers crossed. I've never been to Labadoux, apparantly it's a small, intimate festival.

Apparantly, our beloved Heather will be top of the bill on the Labadoux festival in Ingelmunster (Flanders) on friday the 5th of may next year. I never heard of this festival, so no more info. I find it weird Heather will play there as she told me during our meet and greet she won't be touring next year. Well, you won't hear me complaining.

You could be right. I know i've seen the longhaired bass player from Lorely live on tour with Heather from 1994-1996 but I was probably wrong about his name all the time ... And there was no internet back then (well not for the general public).

I've seen Heather Nova quite a lot from 1994 - 1995 and the bass player with the long black hair is a familiar face to me. It's the same guy as on the Loreley Festival, so I guess he's called Ali Friend. If I google for Gareth Thomas, his face is totally different from the guy in Loreley, even with a different haircut. Well, it's not important.

The Loreley concert is great but I wonder who the bass player was (big guy with long black hair). He was Heathers bassplayer from 1994 - 1996. I've seen him on stage a lot during that time.

Joeri, who uploaded the video on Youtube said he was Gareth Thomas but I always thought it was Ali Friend from Red Snapper.

In the Oyster era, Heather used musicians from Red Snapper. It's definitely not David Ayers.

The concert and meet and greet were great. Too bad the venue only opened at 19.45 o clock as there were no restaurants or pubs nearby and you had to wait outside in the cold and rain or in your car. I guess I won't be going there anymore

I always take a week off work when Heather tours and visit 2 or 3 gigs in a week, so they are quite similar. 'Luckily' enough Diest was postponed, so it's been a few weeks since my latest HN concert, so maybe it's a bit different.

I find her setlist a nice pick of old and new songs, classics and less known songs, but indeed not a lot of variation

I find it a pity setlists are 90% the same apart from 2 songs. That's kind of boring to the people who go to more than one concert. On the other hand I'm glad not to hear WTW for the hundredth time .

According to the mail you have to print your ticket again as it has a new date on it. It's not necessary as the barcode and the seats are still the same

ATTENTION : as said, the concert will take place in another venue. They will try and keep the same numbered seats, but you might not sit on the seat you expected ! Check your mail about a new seat number (or the Belgian app Ticketmatic).

Something else : it's a bit of a pity the setlists are 90% the same every day, only a few songs differ. As Heather is on her own she can pretty much play every song she ever wrote (apart from Mother Tongue or Sugar ).

The good thing about her playing on her own now, is she can explain or tell stories about songs. When with a full band, it's not possible and it would take away the intensity of the gig. I never knew Heather being so talkative at concerts, a nice surprise.

The concert was great and Heathers voice was in great shape ! It was a little shorter than monday though.

I'd love to know if and when there is a new Evergem date. I can't make it to the new dates for Kortrijk and Diest, I hope still to see one concert of Heather in november.

It was great ! Heather was in great shape ! The setlist was pretty much the same as in Leuven (and the lady singing along Heather during London Rain was the same as in Leuven !).

Good news : somebody replied this to me ' bericht ontvangen van Velinx: Beste. Het klopt dat ze haar shows van woensdag, donderdag en vrijdag heeft afgelast wegens ziekte. Onze programmator is sindsdien dagelijks in contact met haar management en tot nu gaat het bij ons vanavond nog door. Hou zeker uw mail en onze social in de gaten. Mochten er toch nog veranderingen zijn dan brengen wij iedereen zo snel mogelijk op de hoogte. Maar voor ons is het nu ook even afwachten."
