Thank you for the advice Gerd and yes you are right they tell me i have a herniated disc on my right side.

I have an excerise sheet which i do at home 3 or 4 times a day.

Regarding surgery they always say they can't do anything until i've been suffering with it for 6 months straight as the operation has risks apparently i've never got to that time frame before which i'm glad of really as i think i'd be too scared to have it done, But i'm told that it still doesn't mean it wouldn't happen again in the future.

I'm just hoping it will sort itself out in it's own time like before.

I live in Somerset which is nearly 200 miles from London, So to go to London for a Concert it would mean an overnight stay in a hotel ( £50+ ) plus travel costs ( £40+ ) and food costs ( £20+ ) so you're right it doesn't work out that cheap really.

I hope that it's okay to put this topic on here, If it's not okay then please remove it.

I'm probably being too honest posting this on a public forum for everyone to see but i feel it helps to share life experiences.

I went back to work today after having 5 weeks off with an old Back injury and i was there 2 hours and i was in agony again!

I can hardly put any weight on my right leg at all so i'm limping.

So i need to go and have a Scan on the 22nd of June which i'm not looking forward to.

The injury originally started in 2006 when i slipped over on some uneven ground while i was out shopping, At that time i had 10 weeks off work with it then it sorted itself out and i was fine.

Then in 2007 it reared it's ugly head again and i was off work for 5 months with it then which was just awful.

I didn't have any problems with my Back for nearly 3 years until April when all i did was bend over the sink to clean my teeth and i just got stuck in that position, So it all started up again.

So i'm feeling pretty misreable at the moment, But at least i'll be having some visitors which will help.

As i have a contract of employment there is a chance that i could lose my job automatically after a long period of sick leave.

So i'm in need of some laughter and lots of love.

Well yes i have absolutely no excuse, Since it ran out in 1995 i've had no need to apply for a new one.

I haven't been out of the country since i went to France in 1993 and i've never been on an aeroplane.

But i love going on the water!

Maybe someday i'll get a new passport if someone falls in love with me on here and asks me to emigrate LOL!.
