The song's music on the new video is the song she sang in London.

I love the album name.
I'm less fond of Heather's pic ; well, there's something in the hair or in the make up that seems a bit weird to me (the rest is ok).

The pic with the guitar and the jeans is fine. It sounds quite rock (still, the last "rock" album Heather announced was 300 Days, who was clearly much more pop than rock, so, we'll see).

Great news !

But is it me, or have the prices increased since last album ?

I thought a cover was 500 euros last time. this time, it's 700...

Btw, if Heather does like I do, she'll have several versions for some verses, and time will let her find which one she prefers.

For the verses, it'"s not Em but G/B : X20010.

I guess that the Em on the chorus, when she's strumming and not picking the ropes is Em then E (the chord seem to change in a few seconds - I don't know if I'm making myself clear, I'm a bit tired ).

Same for the bridge : C Em C Em E Dm G then chorus again.

Well done !

I tried to find out the lyrics, but I had gaps, and obviously, what you find is clearly better than what I found.
I'll compare your version and mine, though, and if I think I may have understood a line better than you, I'll tell you.

I think next tour will be ok.

Besides, once you get a family, you have a little less time and money than before. And the smaller once we only 7 months old. He'll be older for next tour, which will make things more convenient for everyone.

If only.

Thanks for all your kind words. I had to practice, anyway, and needed to be forces to train to memorize lyrics, and stuff.

Lyrics are my biggest matter, actually. I am close to 90 songs now in my songbook, and even if I won't sing 10 or 15 of them because either they are crap or I just don't want to share them (I have 3 or 4 that are kind of diaries song, and I finally prefer keeping private), there are at least 70 songs left. You can't keep in your head the 75 songs lyrics* unless you are to sing them from time to time.

* I mean : lyrics of your songs -> songs you won't happen to hear on the radio or put the CD, etc.

Oh, and I was rather happy with my singing. I'm no good at singing (nor bad, but I just ain't got something special on this side and am a songwriter rather than a singer), but it seem I kind of improved (a bit). For some reasons, I wouldn't swear that pregnancies had nothing to do with it. But what and why, I have no clue.

Hi, nd thanks for all the kind words !

Well, it was very noisy, people were there to eat. Honestly, I didn't mind : i hadn't playing live for ages, so it was a kind of soft rehearsal after all this time. Besides, the challenge of playing in this kind of situation is a good training. Not to forget, we enjoyed the nice meal offered by the restaurant. So, it wasn't a bad time.
I'd like to get an opportunity to play in front of an audience who's here to listen.

Sorry, no pics nor videos this time, my husband was busy with the baby.

I'll try to, next time.

Thanks for the video ! This one is better than the previous one : there's the whole song, and the lyrics are easier to catch.

Except one thing : is it just me, or does Heather really holds her guitar in a strange way ? I don't see any strap....

I agree on the songs intensity : for most of them (not all ; Sugar, for instance, was raw and powerful).

I disagree on the voice, though ; on several songs (mai,ly Island), one can notive Heather doesn't perform some very high notes she used to -compare with Wonderlust Island, for example).

But nevermind. I was 10 years old in 1994.

I 1st saw Heather on stage in 2005, with the Redbird tour. I had never heard either Blue Black, nor Verona before (and Blind, of course), and only acoustic Sugar, Doubled Up and Truth And Bone. I had heard Light Years just once, same for MAybe An Agnel and throwing Fire At The Sun.

SO, it's ok with me : it was incredible to hear the full album live, especially in 2017. It was deep, and raw anyway, and Sugar (and some other songs) blew like a hurricane.

I think I remember she told somewhere she's got quite a lot unreleased songs. It may be a good idea to offer some of them ; it wouldn't cost her anything, since she already recorded the tracks.

A cd can be played on every reader.
A mp3 can't be played in aregular CD-reader.

Besides, kids get to know and recognize musics more easily if there are on a 80min CD (regular CD) that among hours of music (mp3 CD).

As an adult, I bought myself an mp3 player with many Gigas, so I can put hours of music. Because I'm an adult, I'll decide to choose some songs (and navigate in a mp3 reader), or decide to let it play random, etc.

My older song knows now how to put a CD in a reader we have at home, but that's all. So, regular CD is better. If they like this one, I'll do a second one, after.
