Great news : Heather will be playing at the W-festival in Ostend the 26th of june.

W-fest used to be a festival focussing on New Wave music, later switching to 80ies pop music. Adding Heather to the line-up might be odd, but on the other hand her new cd will be full of great 80ies covers. I'll be there. The same day you can see other great bands like Alphaville and Jeanne Mas.

Ordered the vinyl and cd. Too bad there was no download link to the vinyl, so I had to buy the cd as well. 51 € including shipping is not cheap. I hope I can have the lp signed without having to pay for a meet and greet. The songs I already heard are great

Tori's gig in Brussels, planned 9 th of March is postponed to a later date (no new date yet) because of Covid. I feared this would happen...

Well, a lot of bands I follow, do this. You can listen to the lp at home and to the mp3's on your Ipod or in your car (if you don't have Spotify). I have a lot of vinyl but no record player, I only have them to look at, most of them are still in their plastic cover !

It was me who 'suggested' it. Well, I was surprised she didn't change it to 'boy' but now it has an interesting angle. I'm not homophobic or whatever and I like this song.

Same here V, seeing Heather live on festivals in summer and indoor gigs in fall has become a certainty in my life since 1994 ... Too bad we had to miss it due to Covid. Whenever I see Heather live, be it in Brussels, Amsterdam, Koln, Paris or whatever, it feels like coming home. Sometimes I think 'what the hell am I doing here ?', but when the concert starts I say to myself 'it's ok, I'm home'.

It's no surprise the concerts are postponed. I don't like acoustic gigs that much but will be going to a few of these gigs. Bernd : I can't help you with the Rijkvorsel thing, should I mail them ? Maybe they think a few people will sell their tickets as it's still a long time and people might have other plans then.

I doubt only a few gigs are cancelled, I'm pretty sure the entire fall tour is postponed unfortunately.

The venue in Evergem sent me this mail ''Het management meldt dat de tour van Heather Nova in het najaar '21 geannuleerd wordt gezien de onzekere (reis)situatie. De tournee verschuift naar het seizoen 22-23." It means the ENTIRE tour will be postponed until 2022-2023.

Corona figures are going in the right direction and lots of people getting vaccinated. I have some concerts in the beginning of september and I'm pretty sure they will take place. They are even talking about hosting real outdoor festivals (60.000 people) in Belgium in september, which I find quite crazy.

From the 6 Belgian gigs by Heather I'll only go to Evergem and Leuven I guess. The others are too far away and in a way it's always the same

Last real and big concert I saw was the amazing Nick Cave in Bremen, one year ago. It was actually an 'interview' but he played 15 songs on piano as well.

Great news but it would be even better news if she finally released some new stuff.

Not in one day but 2 hours ! Sales started at 8 pm (which is a very strange hour to start sales)and at 10 pm it was sold out.

I also find it very weird this gig was sold out so quickly, as there was no publicity made for it. If my friend Peter hadn't told me, I wouldn't even know. It's also not on Ticketswap. I'll contact the venue by mail. I have also never heard of this venue, and never been there.
